Letter to Witold Jodko-Narkiewicz, December 14, 1894

ENGELS TO WITOLD JODKO-NARKIEWICZ

IN LONDON

[London,] 14 December 1894
41 Regent's Park Road, N. W.

Dear Jodko,

I certainly would not have the least objection to your translating my article on the peasant question and should be glad if it could also prove helpful to your compatriots.[1]

Yours,

F. Engels

As you see, we have moved house.

  1. On 13 December 1894 Witold Jodko-Narkiewicz asked Engels for permission to translate his work The Peasant Question in France and Germany (present edition, Vol. 27) for the Polish journal Przedsmit. The translation was published in No. 12 of this journal for 1894.
