ENGELS TO GEORGE WILLIAM LAMPLUGH
IN LONDON
[London] 12 January 1894
122 Regent's Park Road, N. W.
My dear Lamplugh,
I had a dim recollection of having given you the Socialism[1] before, but was not sure. My memory for this sort of thing is getting awfully senile. Please dispose of the odd copy to your friend, as you propose, and I only hope he will find it digestible.
Compliments to Mrs Lamplugh.
Yours faithfully
F. Engels
The weather may now by and by permit of your visit to the Zoo, so when it comes off please drop us a postcard and say about what time after having seen the wild beasts you will be likely to look in here with your family.
