ENGELS TO MARX
IN LONDON
[Littlehampton,[1] ] 19 September 1878 Seiborne Cottage
Dear Moor,
Letter re money received. I immediately telegraphed and wrote to N. Cohen & Co., telling them to pay the money into my bank. But since it was made payable as of yesterday, it is quite possible that they delivered the cheque to my house yesterday, or sent it through the post. Would you be so kind as to go and ask about it at my house? If nothing has been handed in or arrived at 122 Regent's Park Road,[2] then all will be in order and the bank will probably send the advice to me here tomorrow, as I asked them to do.
In haste, TO CATCH FIRST POST.
Your
F. E.
